We will verify your details with the UKCP organisational member you are applying through before your membership with us is approved. This will usually take around 7-10 working days. In the unlikely event that your application is not approved, your payment will be refunded. Full Clinical Membership

Full clinical membership is for:

People who have completed a UKCP-approved training and who are members of a UKCP organisational member
practising psychotherapists or psychotherapeutic counsellors accredited by a UKCP organisational member

Trainee Therapist

Trainee membership is for people:

training with a UKCP organisational member who have started seeing clients under supervision
accruing the required clinical practice hours for accreditation with a UKCP organisational member

The UKCP organisational member must take supervisory responsibility for your clinical practice.

Trainee therapist membership is also available to associate members of a UKCP accrediting organisational member. You will need to be in the process of completing practice hours under supervision as required by the organisational member to achieve your accreditation as a psychotherapist or psychotherapeutic counsellor.

Student membership is open to people enrolled on an approved training course with a UKCP organisational member.

If you have started supervised clinical practice as part of your training course please apply for trainee membership.
